This six part guide will help you get the most out of your wedding photography and includes tips for each part of the big day, so you know what to expect and can enjoy your day to the max! One you've read each section, click on the button at the bottom of the page for the next section.

Once I've confirmed your booking your date is guaranteed, so you can tick wedding photography off the list and get on with planning the rest of your special day:

  • It's your day so make it unique by keeping those traditions you love, leaving out the ones you don't love and adding in things that are special to you!

  • Feel free to contact me at any time about anything wedding related as I've had the privilege to photograph over 200 weddings and am always happy to share my experience

  • If you're thinking of having some fun with confetti, sparklers, smoke bombs or pyro flares on your wedding day, do check with your venue first and then let me know so I can send over some tips and inspiration for you to get the most out of these increasingly popular wedding day moments!

  • For full day bookings, I'll try to meet up with you around 8 weeks prior to your wedding day - around when you're finalising plans with your venue - to make it easier for you on the big day as we'll already have met and got to know each other a little

  • When we meet, I'll go through who's who at your wedding (family and wedding party), your timeline for the day and any group photos you'd like. This will help me to remember key people's names, help keep things on track during the day and capture your group photos as smoothly and quickly as possible without you having to think about it on the day

  • I'll also offer to take some pre-wedding portraits (20 - 30 mins) so you can see how I work and so it won't be as scary having your pictures taken on the day!

  • Your invoice balance is due the day before your wedding. However, you can pay it off at any time, either as a lump sum or instalments, by credit card or bank transfer, in the same way as you did for your deposit.

  • And don't worry about forgetting to pay your balance, I'll send you a reminder the week before your wedding as I know you'll be busy with final preparations before the big day!

Finally, just before your special day, I'll drop you a quick message to reconfirm everything - along with a few tips and reminders - so you know I'm all set to capture the story of your wedding day 🙂.
